Building Blocks Rock

Based in New York City, Sean Kenney makes a living out of playing with Lego. He has produced commissions for galleries, museums, television, publications, celebrities and companies like Google, ABC, Mazda, JP Morgan Chase and Elle Magazine.

He is one of the world’s premier Lego-artists and his work has been featured in media all across the world. Sean is also one of  six Lego-certified professionals and currently posses over 1 million Lego pieces in his studio.

This is a sample of one his most recognizable pieces entitled “Street Life,” a model of Greenwhich village in New York City. The piece utilizes over 50,000 individual Lego Blocks and took over 6 months to complete.
